About Bow Crow
Founder of a quietly successful architectural design, and consulting practice, Kim Walton of Bow Crow Design has spent the last 35 years designing energy efficient homes and small buildings from the Alberta Foothills. Using her skills in Energy modelling and employing excellence in building science, Kim designs and manages Passive House and Net Zero projects across Western Canada.
Kim realizes her clients’ vision with solutions that are functional, healthy, durable, energy efficient, site-specific, beautiful and fun. She uses appropriate technologies to create sensible, affordable and sustainable living places.
Designer Christopher Lawrence joined Bow Crow Design in 2016. He received his diploma in Architectural Technologies from Southern Alberta Institute of technology in 2015. Christopher has also volunteered design and fabrication services with Quickdraw Animation Society, and art projects associated with Beakerhead and Sled Island.
When not working in AutoCAD and Sketch up, he enjoys long distance canoeing, rebuilding vintage French bicycles, skiing and sailing when he can. A German Shepherd named Oscar sleeps under his desk while he drafts.
